Pitch
Endless Skater is a 2D runner where the player embodies a skateboarder who must do as many tricks as possible without falling or getting caught in obstacles to get the highest possible score.
Goal of the game
The goal of the game is to get the highest possible score. There are two ways to increase the score.
Firstly, the score increases as long as the player doesn't fall down or hit obstacles.
The player can also do some tricks with his skateboard to add a multiplier to the time and thus increase his score.
The idea is for the player to find all the moments when he can do tricks without falling on an obstacle.

What we decided to do
This game was made with two people during the course where the objective was to make a runner where the player avoids obstacles. But we wanted the player to do something other than just avoid obstacles.
We decided to use the skateboard, which allowed us to add an extra mechanic with the tricks. We wanted to have several cool animations that would allow players to try out different tricks and take risks to break the monotony of runners while adding a great risk/reward component.
My role in this project
There were two of us in this project. We did the code together. I also did the visuals for the environment. As there were two of us, I also worked on the QA part by testing the game.
