Pitch
Tia, the little fire spirit has been given a new task, to become the lighthouse keeper guiding the dead to find their way out of the living world. His grandfather who left her a letter explaining her new role, before mysteriously disappearing.
She must therefore keep the lighthouse on, guiding the dead to eternal light. However, the dead too attached to life keep putting out the great blaze at the top of the tower. When the lighthouse light is not on, the dead are lost and they roam in limbo. The young Tia… will she succeed in accomplishing the new task entrusted to her?
Goal of the game
The goal of the game is to guide Tia and solve the puzzles in her path. The game is based on the player's observation and thinking skills. There are three levels, each with one or more puzzles. The player's objective is to advance from room to room to reach the end of the game where he/she must relight a brazier.

What we decided to do
For this game, we decided to make several levels with several different puzzles and we ended up running out of time to do everything we wanted.
We should have focused on one or two strong mechanics rather than making a lot of mini games that were not all mastered. On the visual side, we wanted to have a cartoon style with the use of a shader that is applied to the whole game.
My role in this project
For this project, there were four of us. I took care of several different things. First of all, I made the mesh of the character. The rig and animations came from Mixamo.
I also did the game code on Unreal Engine and all the integration of the different elements of the game. I also did the shader that gives this cartoon effect on the whole game.
This project was not easy to manage because we had two people to do the props, one person to do everything in 2D. I had to take care of the code by myself, which allowed me to learn a lot of things but I also made several mistakes that make the game a bit empty and not finished at the end.
